New Yawk, NY – Anita Sensa- Irony who spent every weekend of the past three years taking to the streets and protesting against the First Amendment’s protection of free speech and the Second Amendment’s protection of the right to bear arms is now outraged and taking to the streets to protest the government taking away her right to kill her own baby.
I’m outraged !! She screamed (her eyes bulging, veins popping) as she lifted a fist in the air holding a burning American flag motif bra.
The beyond triggered college educated urban woman was uncontrollably sobbing, stammering and stunned, she was barely able to choke out her feelings. “I was outraged when the government refused to take away other people’s free speech which I found offensive. And I was outraged when the government refused to take guns away from law abiding citizens. But this?! This is even more…. what’s the word? Outrageous!!!”
Working herself up into a feverish lather, she foamed at the mouth and seemed to scream out in pain to a god she doesn’t believe exists “Now the government is taking away MY constitutional right to kill MY own baby for the sake of MY own convenience!!” What kind of hateful, heartless, sick, senseless bastards do we have on the Supreme Court ??!!
She dropped to her knees and dramatically started punching her unexpectant belly in a bizarre display of defiance.
When gently reminded that unlike the right to free speech and the right to bear arms, which are given to us by our creator and guaranteed to us by our government, the constitution does not explicitly, undeniably and unambiguously give her the right to kill her baby, she immediately retorted. “WELL IT DAMN WELL SHOULD!!”
She finally calmed down when reassured that, abortion was not made illegal, it was just left for each state to decide and as she lives in New York City, there is no chance abortion will be made illegal in her state.
She was further assured that as a matter of fact, she has a better chance of being killed by criminals on the streets of New York City while on her way to an abortion clinic, than of being refused a procedure to kill her baby once she got there.
“Do you really think so?” Her eyes opening wide and expectantly as her tears dried. She smiled. All was well in her world. She picked up her protest sign and stopped for a macchiato latte on the way back to her apartment.
